Whether you're strapping on your skates for the first time or for the first time in years, skaters will love the all new FRX 80 skates which feature the premium FR liner, 3D EVA footbed and wider boot opening.
The FRX is the perfect jack of all trades, just as at home in the city as it is for lengthy skates round the park , seafront or for some technical footwork.
The liner is thick and slipper like, providing best in class comfort at any price ,but for an extremely reasonable price tag.
The shell is strong and supportive, working in tandem with the liner to reduce road vibration while staying responsive to your movements.
To ensure that your foot is held securely in place, the FR X 80 skates feature a FK buckle fastening at the ankle and a double strap fastening across the top of your foot.
The FR X 80 boot is mounted upon a new X2R 243mm black frame with the wheel of choice for freeride skaters everywhere; the FR Street Kings wheels
Fitting - FR's Freeride removable liners tend to feel extremely tight at first. The stock FR liners are extremely thick and have the ability to mold to the shape of your foot over time. They stretch a fair amount as you use them , so we usually advise our customers to get them nice and tight at first so the skate doesn’t become too big for them in the future. The FR Freeride range is nice and wide inside so width is never usually a problem. It is normal for customers to touch the front of the liner and have next to no toe space at first. Over time the liner will expand at the front and the back becoming a bit more roomy. But if you want them less tight at the start go for a size bigger.
